Evergreen Childminders

Welcome to Evergreen childminders where we encourage little people to have big imaginations . Using our beautiful local surroundings such as the beach, Durlston Country park , Townsend Nature Reserve ,Studland among many more places that we visit daily and learn about all the biodiversty that lives there - not to mention our large onsite garden which is fantastic for observing seasonal changes. At Evergreen children will explore nature and learn how to be curious and question the world  around them. We incorporate all the EYFS learning goals through these outdoor activities as well as allowing plenty of free play and child led activites along side the Hyyge and curisoity approach. Art and the environment is a big part of our learning ethos enabling them  to express themselves by exploring and experimenting with textures, sounds, colours emotiond and using their 5 senses,  children learn all the skills they need to become confident  bright and happy individuals. Being involved in recycling , upcycling, garden garudian sessions  will teach the children how to be respectful, mindful and resilient and develop a lasting wonder and awe at the world they live in.Our teaching and leraning ethos  along with being a smaller setting is particulary good for childen with SEN or those who need a gentler , less busy place to learn about ,friendships their own envrionment and themseleves as we are able to offer a higher level  1:1 approach. We  also  make a good  extenstion / extra learnig experience to any other setting your child may attend.
